Our Campground is Truly Entertaining!
Some weekends are always special – like Memorial Day and 4th of July – and other ones we just make special with fun theme weekends. Here’s a list of some our special events for this season.
May 11-13th Mother’s Day Weekend:
Happy Mother’s day all you Mom’s! Participate in the tag sales at your site (Bring your goods to sell and set up your tag sale on your site), bingo, hayride, horseshoes, craft making, pot luck social, Wii games, and Mimosa’s for moms on Mother’s Day morning (Coffee and pastries). (Nascar 12th Darlington)
May 18-20th Hot Wheels and RC Weekend
Start your engines! Bring your own hot wheel racers and RC cars/trucks for an awesome time at our outdoor track. Participate in the blindfolded racers contest. (Nascar Party on the 19th All Star Race). Please bring a snack to share. There will also be scheduled races, horseshoes, bingo and more activities.
May 25-28th Memorial Day Weekend
Three days of fun with kids bingo, volleyball, tie dying, starlight bingo, horseshoes, crafts, hayrides and more. Entertainment on Saturday with Coyote River Band and Sunday Night with the Band Midnight. (Nascar charlotte 27th) Please bring a snack to share.
June 1st-3rd Balloon Weekend
Float your way up to White Pines Balloon Weekend. There will be a best decorated balloon contest (Bring your own balloon please), balloon games, horseshoes, bingo, and in-house karaoke.
June 8-10th Casino Weekend Part 1
Are you willing to bet it all? Fun casino activities, bingo, hayrides, a kids party, bonfire and marshmallow roast, horseshoes and more. And of course we can’t forget our adults casino night!
June 15-17th Father’s Day Weekend
June 22-24th Magical World of Disney WeekendHappy Father’s Day! There will be a Macaroni and cheese contest, fishing derby dad with kids, dad and kids hayride and dad and kids wiffle-ball game, horseshoes, and Father’s day morning coffee and donuts.
Dress up as your favorite Disney character for the White Pines Disney Parade! Fun activities like name the staffs favorite character, tea cup races, hayrides, a Disney movie, bingo, scavenger hunt, horseshoes, charades, Dress your site, and more!
June 29th-July 1st Bingo Mania
Bingo till you drop! This weekend is for those who really enjoy playing bingo. We will have candy bingo, adult bingo, teen and adult bingo, family bingo, starlight bingo, and other activities too. Fun time for all! (Nascar Kentucky Speedway 30th)
July 6-8th Country Picnic Weekend
Well howdy! There will be a corn bread and chili contest, old fashion games, corn chucking, squirt gun showdown (you supply your own squirt gun), afternoon pot-luck picnic, and a Saturday evening hoe down with the band Frantic City. (Nascar Daytona 7th)
July 13-15th RC and Power Wheel Weekend
Racers, start your engines! Meet in the front field at our very own RC track, with your RC cars/trucks and power wheels for a good time. Meet and greet the drivers, show and shine the cars and power wheels, backwards racing, obstacle course, and fastest time. Talent show take 2 Saturday night, and more activities to come.
July 20-22nd PROM WEEKEND
Bring your own clothing for this special evening. Limo hayride pick-up at designated spots throughout the camp, Corsage making, hayride, pavilion decorating, King and Queen contest, bingo, horseshoes and more. Enjoy the entertainment of our D.J. and dance to your favorite songs.
July 27-29th CHRISTMAS IN JULY
Santa Clause is coming to town! Christmas party with Santa and Mrs. Claus (adults bring a wrapped gift with child’s name on it $10.00 limit please) Saturday night. Cookie exchange, craft, Christmas movie, Hayrides with Santa and the Elves, scavenger hunt, bingo, horseshoes and decorate your site contest prize for the best guest and seasonal site.
Aug 3-5th White Pines Open Mic Night
Sing, joke, dance or show off your talent. Try out your new material on the pavilion at White Pines. Signup sheet located in the camp store. (All material must be sensor.) Other activities as well such as hayrides, bingo, and horseshoes.
Aug 10-12th WACKY OLYMPICS
Show off your wacky side! Participate in the Olympic Games here at White Pines like Shot put, egg toss, sack races, boxing and others. Some activities require a team and others do not. The only important thing is to have fun! Also there will be Crafts, bingo, hayrides horseshoes and more.
Aug 17-19th WHITE PINES CASINO WEEKEND/POT-LUCK SOCIAL
Once again it’s time to roll the dice here at White Pines. Play casino games on the pavilion or have your kids go to the kid party. Crafts, hayrides, bingo, and more.
Aug 24-26th PIRATE WEEKEND
Shiver me timbers! Construct your own pirate ship, we will supply the cardboard you supply the rest. Boat races at the pool, pirate crafts, hayrides, best pirate contest and other fun activities.
Aug 31-Sept-3rd Labor Day Weekend Fun/Benefit Weekend
Make a Wish jail and bail and other activities like our Miss White Pines pageant, entertainment with Frantic City on Saturday night, crafts, bingo, make your own sundae, tie dying, face painting and lots more.
Sept 7-9th Pet friendly Weekend
This weekend is all towards our furry friends. Join us for our annual Pet parade, pet got talent contest, Nascar Party Richmond Saturday night bring a snack to share. Hayrides, bingo, crafts, and other activities as well.
Sept 14-16th Haunted Happenings
It’s Halloween here at White Pines. Decorate your site contest for guests and seasonals, haunted hayride, Come and walk our scary haunted trail if you dare (weather permitting) bob for apples, crafts, and other spooky activities.
Sept 21-23rd Trunk and treat /Pumpkin Feast
Bring your decorated vehicles to the front field for our trick or treating event. Best decorated vehicle contest, best costume, costume parade, and other Halloween activities. Bring a carved pumpkin to participate in our second annual pumpkin feast.
Sept 28-30th Thanksgiving/Seasonal Bingo and Final Talent Show Weekend
It’s Thanksgiving here at White Pines. Join us at our thanksgiving feast potluck and bring a dish to share. This weekend will be full of bingo and our finally talent show. Crafts, hayrides, and other activities too.
Oct. 5-8th Farewell weekend
Close out cookout pot-luck on Saturday night, bingo, hayride, and a few other activities while everyone is packing up. We hope you enjoyed the season and come back next year for another eventful season. Thanks to everyone and we hope you have a safe winter!
